Sperry / Univac and Mapper Memorabilia

My last post mentioned that along with the Sperry Uniscope terminal, I found a bunch of Sperry, Univac, and “Mapper” ephemera (stickers, magnets, etc) around it. Apparently the previous owner was a Univac employee and worked with the “Mapper” software, which is still available today from Unisys as “BIS”.

Anyway, enjoy some pics of this old stuff, likely dating from the 70’s to the 80’s. The comic was literally taken down off the wall, and the magnets were on a refrigerator nearby.

If you’ve used Mapper, and/or worked for Univac at the time, please feel free to leave comments in the comment section!

Due to the bug damage I didn’t bother to take this, although I wish I got a better picture of it.
Another one I didn’t take, so only got a pic of it. The Sperry 1100 was a mainframe system Mapper ran on.

Last but not least, in doing some research, I also found a Youtube video that shows a handful of what I’m showing above and even more Mapper and BIS memorabilia.
