Philadelphia Area Electronics Resources

This page will feature a list of various electronics resources, including stores, businesses, services, learning resources, and more having to do the electronics hobby. These may include both local brick-and-morter places, as well as online vendors.

If bookmarking this page, please bookmark using the following URL: https://www.junknet.net/electronics/list

As I am located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, this list will prefer to focus on businesses and stores in this area where people can go to get parts and supplies for building, repairing, and experimenting with electronics, but again, I’ll post up some other options as well.

If you or your company would like to be featured in this list, please use the Contact Me button at the top of the site to reach out. Once in a while I may “feature” a particular business if I use them for something or know someone else that did.

Learning Resources

Mr. Carlson’s Lab (Youtube Channel
Mr. Carlson’s lab is one of my favorite youtube channels, and features videos by Paul Carlson who repairs and restores all sorts of electronics, both vintage and modern. His videos go into extreme detail on his thought process behind everything he does in a repair, and details every step from a dusty, neglected piece of gear to a shiny, fully operational, sometimes-better-than-stock device

Frantone and Franlab – http://www.frantone.com/
Frantone and Franlab are a local person who builds and sells guitar effects pedals, but also features a Youtube channel discussing Electronics topics.
