I finally took the time to start making a list of everything I'm committed to...not just things I promised people, but also stuff I have stored that I plan someday to get around to. Looking at these things like a commitment rather than just an item on a shelf helps to justify making a decision sooner on it - am I really ever going to get around to it, or should I just dump it? Preferably...the answer will be dump it.

I have some goals in mind...a plan if you can believe it...and it seems the large amount of stuff I've accumulated over the past several years is directly in the way of achieving those goals. They're a burden rather than a blessing. Its time to do something about that!

Unfortunately all this work and effort are taking a toll on my summer...not much in the way of swimming, amusement parks, or the shore for me this year, but in the long run, it'll be WELL worth it, and I'm sure sooner or later I'll catch up on some fun before the fall kicks in.

Wow...the last few months have been absolutely nuts for me. Sold off a bunch of stuff including one of my cars, got my own place, did some traveling for work, and now the next step is to tackle the last several years of hoarding this and that and get it down to what I can properly store and use. Not nearly as easy as it sounds!! Stay tuned for more updates eventually, when I find the time!!
